Why settle for marijuana, cocaine, meth, or any other drug, when you could just get addicted to the internet. “Studies show that 63% of Americans log on to Facebook daily, and 40% log on multiple times each day. People use the site for myriad reasons; however, it usually serves, on some level, the same basic purposes: distraction and boredom relief.” Not only do we waste our time not socializing with others, but most of it is wasted on nothing but liking and commenting on other peoples things. Because we are so addicted to Social Networks, that they are a major role in politics for getting news/information, and reaching out for people to vote.
